中国では誰でも知ってる逸話です。

ある冬の日のこと農夫は寒さに凍えて今にも死にそうになったヘビを見つけました。
彼は可哀想に思いヘビを拾い上げると自分の懐に入れて暖めました。
ヘビは元気を取り戻し農夫にに噛み付きました。

ヘビはこう言いました
「助けたお前が悪い」

農夫は死にました。
